Different Types of Regions
In class on Friday, it was a shorter class because of the pep rally. This class wasn't that bad and it went by pretty fast. We learned about three different types of regions. The three regions are Formal Regions, Functional Region, and Vernacular Region. A formal region is a uniform region meaning everyone is the same in some way. Functional region is an area where something is focused on one specific thing or node. A Vernacular region is a place where people act alike of is culture or a group.
