Population Size

In class today, I had to sit up front because someone needed my desk to take a test in the hall. We talked about world population. We talked about the three factor to population. The three factor are being born, dying, and something else. We also looked at a chart that described how population has increased drastically over the years. It took 10,000 plus year to reach 1 billion people in this world. The latest count was 12 years to reach one billion. That is a crazy change, and people have inferred that it will only take less and less years as time goes on. We look at this website that had total population of the United States and total population of the whole world. There is about a little more then 7 billion people in the world and about 3 billions people in the United States. The country with the greatest population is China, second is India, and third is the United States. I found it very interesting that it also showed how in the United States a new baby is born every 8 seconds, and someone dies every 13 seconds.
