Textbook Notes:
- King Philip ll of Macedonia 
-Macedonia- located North of Greece, cold, rough terrain (mountainous villages) (people thought of themselves as Greeks even though most Greeks looked down on them)
-Macedonians had shrewd and fearless kings
-King Philip turned peasants into well-trained professional army (came up with phalanxes)
-Demosthenes
-Darius lll: Persian 
-Alexander the Great - conquered land from Greece to the Indus Valley
